What to Expect

The Veneer Treatment Process

The veneer treatment process is split into two stages. At your first appointment, your teeth will be prepared for veneer placement. Dr. Enaya will begin by cleaning your teeth and numbing the treatment area. You can also be sedated for your treatment if you prefer.

Then, Dr. Enaya will remove a thin layer (about 0.5mm in thickness) from each tooth that is receiving a veneer. This is done to ensure that the veneers fit perfectly without adding bulk to each of your teeth. Once your teeth have been prepared, Dr. Enaya will take digital impressions. These will be sent to a lab, where your veneers will be built.

It takes about 2-3 weeks for your veneers to be made. In the meantime, you will be sent home with a set of temporary veneers. Once your veneers have been crafted and sent to our office, you’ll come in for your final appointment. Dr. Enaya will clean your teeth and check the veneers to make sure they fit properly. Then, your veneers will be bonded into place, buffed, and polished.
